Dyker Heights is located in Brooklyn along 11th to 13th Avenues (Dyker Heights Blvd), extending from 83rd to 86th Street. The best way to get to Dyker Heights is via subway on the D Train to 79th Street or the R Train to 86th Street. If you decide to drive, parking will be a challenge, so work that into your plan.

Light displays are already up and running and will be until after the new year. The best time to go see them is between now and New Year’s Eve, anytime between dusk and 9:00 pm.

Please keep in mind this is a residential neighborhood. Be respectful of the residents’ homes and privacy by keeping trash picked up and noise at a minimum and finishing up your visit by 9:00 pm. Try to stay on sidewalks and not get too close to the homes. You really won’t need to, and the light displays are bright. Have fun, take photos, and have an unforgettable time!
