Films on the Green is back in New York City, bringing some French flair to Manhattan parks with its free outdoor film series. This year’s theme, Fashion in Film, is all about the iconic looks, stories, and culture of French cinema. This year also marks 130 years since the invention of cinema, a shared milestone for France and the U.S. Films on the Green, has grown from small community gardens to a multi-city event, including NYC, of course. Now, it’s bringing its open-air film experience to five cities across the U.S. through September.
