Holiday Decor Must-Haves for Upcoming Corporate Parties

October 10, 2022 Desiree Homer

With all those corporate holiday parties coming up, you could really use some creative inspiration for designs, decor, and aesthetics. And you’ve come to the right place. Check out some of these fun and seasonal ideas to make sure your corporate holiday parties are merry and bright!

Get Creative with Stocking Stuffers

Everyone loves a fun stocking stuffer! And as a corporate holiday event planner, you can incorporate stockings, prizes, and goodies into each company celebration. From stockings full of snacks at each table to door prizes of stocking stuffers, bring an element of seasonal fun and surprise gift-giving with stockings!

Get Grinchy

Another holiday favorite comes in green. Get Grinchy with some of your designs or decor ideas and incorporate the holiday bad guy turned good. Bring in a Grinch performer to mingle at the party. Consider designating some of your tables as Grinchy tables, with Max the dog and his head-mounted, lone antler. Don’t forget to play the Grinch song, too, as part of the festivities.

Winter Wonderland Aesthetics

Breathe winter wonderland aesthetics into your corporate holiday party with airy elements of blue hues, sparkling snowflakes, and iridescent backdrops. Set up selfie stations with giant snowmen and falling fake snow. Transform the floor to look like ice and include brilliant icicles wherever you can hang them. And these decor extras will make any candy or hot cocoa station all the more festive!

Elf on the Shelf

Another favorite, and slightly maddening for parents, is the Elf on a Shelf. Consider fun ways to incorporate your own games or scavenger hunts, prompting guests to “find the elf.” Or, get even more creative by incorporating an elf as a table centerpiece, unique in a new adventure at every table.

Decorative Trees & Wreaths

Of course, you may want to incorporate a few brightly decorated trees as part of your holiday party. But you can explore other fun ways to spruce up the firs. Consider theme decor for various trees throughout the venue. Maybe miniature trees, with tiny boxes of decor at the tables for guests to decorate themselves. Or maybe transform your event space or dance floor into a forest of well-lit, brilliant holiday trees. And don’t forget that wreaths are perfect last-minute elements to add seasonal joy throughout your venue when you need them.

Holiday Movies & Music

Whenever applicable, use holiday movie classics and favorite holiday songs to get your corporate event guests feeling festive. If your event features a stage presentation, these elements are great for intermissions. And if there are lounges or cozy nooks for guests to mingle, consider changing up the music or viewing options for an intimate entertainment option in those areas.

Corporate Holiday Party Themes

When you have the creative freedom to introduce holiday themes to your corporate event holiday celebrations, you can create sheer magic. Consider some of these ideas for inspiration:

  • Santa’s Workshop - toy-making props, sleigh, tree, gifts galore
  • Nightmare Before Christmas - Jack Skelington and friends throughout
  • Candy Cane Lane - candy stations, canes of all sizes in a frosty wonderland
  • White Christmas - snow, snowflakes, and glistening elements throughout
