New York City Restaurant Week is back for its semi-annual event that’s always highly anticipated by locals and visitors alike. NYC is a foodie haven and one of the most notable culinary capitals in the world. There are numerous reasons why this city is looked upon as a gourmet hotspot, including its cultural diversity, access to fresh ingredients, and tremendous culinary talent. The NYC food scene has a unique way of blending the current trends and honoring the traditional food everyone loves. Restaurant Week is the perfect time to explore the culinary landscape of NYC, all while saving some money!
What is NYC Restaurant Week?
NYC Restaurant Week is a semi-annual event where participating restaurants offer discounted prix-fixe menu options so local and visiting foodies can experience all types of restaurants for a fraction of the price.
How Does it Work?
Participating restaurants register with community event organizers. They agree to design their prix-fixe menus and the price set by the organizers. This year’s price points are $30, $45, and $60 for Sunday brunch, two-course lunches, and three-course dinners.
Patrons then make reservations during Restaurant Week (Saturdays excluded and Sundays at the restaurant's discretion) and order off their prix-fixe menu. It’s that simple! We do recommend researching restaurants you would like to visit and making reservations ahead of time.
What are the Dates for This Winter’s Restaurant Week?
NYC’s Winter Restaurant Week will be held from January 21st to February 9th, 2025.
What Restaurants are Participating?
More than 500 NYC restaurants are participating in Restaurant Week. From casual local eateries to Michelin Star establishments and everything in between. Restaurant-goers can get food from all the diverse cultures that make NYC a melting pot of delicious cuisine.
