Markets pop up all over the city that fill parks and plazas with handmade goods, local snacks, and incredible finds for everyone on your list. It’s a fun way to shop without feeling rushed and a good excuse to spend the day exploring different neighborhoods.

1. Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park
Bryant Park turns into a full holiday village every winter with more than 60 stalls selling gifts, winter wear, and sweets. You can grab a hot drink, snack on kettle corn, and even go ice skating.
Dates: Opens October 24th and runs through early January.
2. Union Square Holiday Market
The Union Square Holiday Market has 185 vendors and is known for its creative and locally made gifts. It’s easy to spend hours visiting the booths or stopping for hot cider.
Dates: Mid-November to December 24th.
3. Grand Central Holiday Fair
The Holiday Fair is held inside the iconic Grand Central Terminal, and this indoor market keeps you warm while you shop for all the holiday items. The setting alone is worth a visit.
Dates: November 10th to December 24th (closed Thanksgiving.)
4. Columbus Circle Holiday Market
At the southwest corner of Central Park, shoppers will find this cozy market filled with artisan crafts and seasonal treats. Grab a cup of hot cocoa or mulled wine while you shop at the Columbus Circle Holiday Market.
Dates: Early December to December 31st (closed Christmas Day.)
5. Macy’s Holiday Square
Inside the Herald Square store, Macy’s hosts a pop-up market with 20+ vendors who offer gifts and food from local artisans. It’s a nice stop after seeing the holiday windows or visiting Santa.
Dates: November 1st to early January (closed Christmas Day and January 1st.)
6. Holiday Market at the Oculus
Located inside the stunning World Trade Center Oculus, this smaller market has gifts, crafts, and festive décor in a unique downtown setting.
Dates: Late October to January 2nd.
7. FAD Pop-Up Holiday Market in DUMBO
Inside the historic Empire Stores, this Brooklyn market features handmade jewelry, bath and body products, and artisanal foods. After shopping, grab a bite at Time Out Market next door.

8. Harlem Night Market – Holiday Edition
This festive market takes over La Marqueta with local crafts, international food, and family-friendly activities. The Harlem Night Market – Holiday Edition runs for three weekends in December.
