Greenwich Village is graced with a new American restaurant called Ardyn that serves quite an experience along with delectable dishes.

Ryan Lory and Adam Bordonaro who are from both Charlie Palmer Group and Fig & Olive have enhanced the Greenwich Village area with the opening of Ardyn. An American cuisine restaurant that offers an ever-changing undertaking comprised of three different experiences that are inspired by the seasons.

The Venue:

Ardyn is a split event venue in NYC with a lounge area that serves cocktails and bar snacks, and a dining room that serves a la carte dishes with a tasting-menu-only chef’s counter. Ardyn’s enchanting décor is a sight to see and perfect for hosting events, especially since it’s a large space. The restaurant is named after a sacred forest, so you can expect to see a lot of green and earthy tones. Anywhere you look from the leather banquettes down to the tiles and tabletops made of wood, you will be impressed with the attention to detail in the design. If you’re looking for a new and unique event venue in NYC for a private dinner, you will love the striking black croc-skin design of their private room.

The Cuisine:

Anywhere you decide to sit, you will be served with a delightful plate with ingredients that are sourced from local farmer’s markets along with artisanal supplies. Ardyn’s dishes are small but big on invigorating flavors. We suggest you give a go to the asparagus with Iberico ham, green strawberry and marcona almond, pistachio or scallop crudo with sugar snap pea, and the spring onion. For a larger and heartier dish, you can go for the Duck or the dry-aged wagyu ribeye.

Beverages:

Ardyn took a customized approach with their cocktail menu that is themed by the season. They have selections like cucumber-mint vodka that is mixed with lemon, celery bitters and honey. You should also try their bourbon-based cocktail that is sweetened with brown sugar & rhubarb. Their wine selection are highlights of small vineyards.

Price Range

The price range for the dishes range anywhere from $14 to $24. The restaurant’s tasting menu is priced at $85 for each person with an additional $60 for drinks.

The Bottom Line

Ardyn proudly serves beautifully plated small dishes in an extremely warm ambiance. Let’s face it, what better area to place such a delightful place to dine in than Greenwich Village? The locals are already in love with the culture this area of Manhattan offers, and now their lucky to have a new NYC restaurant to grace the area.
